This would just be a personal update, so expect a light entry.
I missed writing because I became too lazy doing so. It maybe because of the fact that I am currently on the night shift, add the pre-occupation (is there such a term like this?) of my internet shop’s re-launching. Yes, the last two weeks of October, which happened to be the start of my hiatus from the blogging world, saw the rise of a new Ady’s Cyberlink. I decided to transfer to another site, near the Perps Calamba for commercial reasons. Since it would be a transfer, we decided to also make some major overhauls… the shop’s logo was re-designed, some key parts of the units replaced, some softwares upgraded, etc. etc.
When we thought that the re-launching would be a better strategy, a major disaster followed. My DSL connection failed, not because I didn’t pay (I actually advanced the payment till December) but because of some technical problems I still don’t know what (that was what the Technician from PLDT told my staff). Me being so bitch and super pissed off, I called PLDT Customer Service religiously whenever I’m in the shop, every after 30 minutes that is, just to get updates from them. Yes, I’ve cursed the PLDT so many times, fought heavily with the agents I’ve spoken with and demanded a rebate as if it would give me millions. I ended up super stressed about it, especially when I learned that the customer service didn’t actually forward my complaint to any of the PLDT business centers. We found out when I asked my aunt to personally visit the Calamba office. Now, talk about “real costumer service”. I am working for an outsourcing company and I know that our Operations Department really takes their job seriously to deliver the best quality service to our client and our client's subscribers. Now, I am appealing to PLDT, you may want to change your vendor for costumer service. In case you're not aware, they really suck!!!
It’s quite a relief that all things are now getting smoothly. I lost some good regular costumers (which I am still hoping would be back soon since I made them aware of our transfer), but I gained a new breed of DOTA-addict clients. And it’s refreshing to stand by the veranda of my new site, you’ll surely see many eye-candies from the nearby university.
Now talking about the night shift schedule ~ yes, I’ve been a night owl since November 3 and decided to stay on this schedule till the end of this year. Great sacrifice indeed; back to the three-four hours of sleep! But one thing I won’t give up though, my Survivor Philippines viewing habit. I regularly pause from work to catch the show, and I am really addicted to it! Now that there are only five cast-aways left, I am happy that three of my Top Five remains in the game ~ Nanay Zita, JC and Cris. (My original Top Five were Nanay Zita, Cris, JC, Jace and Kiko). Hmmm, I actually have a change on my bets… I wanted Cris out because of what he and Kaye did for Kiko. I’m liking Charisse now… for reasons I can’t explain. It may be her strategy, her mindset or whatever. But I’m still rooting for Nanay Zita because I really want her to get the prize. I am also retracting my opinion about JC being a weakling. Now that the game is nearing its end, I feel JC is the most intelligent (winning the reward challenges twice in a row) and strongest (winning the immunity challenges twice in a row as well). If he wins and the previous spoiler becomes true, then we should no longer question the integrity of the show ~ JC has proven more than anything else that he is deserving of the Sole Survivor title. Well, let's see on the final night if the jury would vote for him.
What else?
Regine’s Low Key Album is now out. Wanting to buy but I decided to have it as my wish gift for our Kris Kringle, plus the original DVD of her “Paano Kita Iibigin” with Piolo Pascual. I wouldn’t watch the Divas 4 Divas concert in Araneta. I only want solo concerts for Regine.
Twilight Movie? Hmmm, will watch it later today with my friends Grace and Ryan in Greenbelt. Haven’t read this Stephenie Meyer book, but planning to buy the whole vampire series (Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, Breaking Dawn) as my Christmas Gift for myself. Now, I really need to finish the Narnia book so I could shift to Edward and Bella's love story!
Still need 5 stickers for me to get the 2009 Starbucks planner… hmm, one more week. I love Dark Cherry Mocha ~ hot, cold or frappe. Add to my former craze, Praline Mocha.
Ms. Earth. I loved Ms. Philippines. Ms. World. I wish Daniel good luck. For me, she’s better than Janina hehehe…
Our Christmas Party? Well, we’re still polishing some details. But I need not worry as things are well planned. Kudos to my Abby, Gerry, Iche, Ever, Sweet, Queenie and Pong, they are really my angels! I don’t have an outfit yet, that’s the downside. I haven’t done my shopping yet. No worries again, I am not eye-ing the Star of the Night title (I am actually disqualified from winning it, having won last year!).
My Christmas would still be cold as ice. That’s okay… getting used to it!
Today’s the US Thanksgiving Holiday, off from work… will attend a baptism on November 30, Birthday Party on December 7, Christmas Party on December 14, Club T Christmas Reunion on a yet to be determined date, Wedding on January 03…
Fully booked, as always!
